This is actually a plea for help as well....LOL. I bought this "thing" at the Thrift Store yesterday for $1.00. It's really very sturdy and I thought with some paint (new colour) and all, I could fix it up.....the thing is, what can I do with it? What can I put in it? I thought of painting it for the ledge on my big window in the kitchen, but then I also thought I'd paint it and put it in my sewing room to hold some things....any ideas? It was just something I couldn't leave there!
Post your opinions as to what I should do with it, and how I can paint it......greatly appreciated!!

That is really cute. I would repaint it & put artificial flowers in it & use it as a window box or something. If you have an entry way table, you could set it there. I think it's going to be cute whatever you choose to do with it thought.
That is one of the things I do. I can't leave something there and then get it home and I'm lost. The best thing I have found is to do it in a color that would work everywhere and if that isn't possible, then I look around the house for things that could use a new home and go from there. Does that help? LOL

It looks like it would do very nicely to hold cross stitch leaflets or magazines in your sewing room? But I would have to paint it. I like red, just not the bright fire engine red. Great find!!
