ARE YOU A 'WHAT IF....PERSON?

I AM. The older I get, the more I become a "what if" person. My husband is not.
I try to come up with a "What if" for anything. Sometimes it's good to rationalize things out...sometimes it's a bit obsessive. I like to know what would happen in any given circumstance. I like to plan ahead....sometimes that's not all that great either....you have to live for today as my DH says. Even when everything in life is going great....I have a "what if".
So, tell me....are you a "what if" person?

Marion,

I hope your day is filled with sunshine. You can send your gloomy clouds south to me. I love a thunderstorm and summertime rain.

I tend to be a "worst case scenario" person. My children bought me this book "The Worst-Case Scenario Handbook" (http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Worst-Case-Scenario-Survival-Handbook/dp/0811861368/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1213874444&sr=8-1)

Not sure how to post links in comments but there is the URL. It is a really funny book. Like what should you do if aliens land in your back yard or if a gorilla attacks you and so on!

You might be able to find them at your library. They are a hoot! Best to be prepared, I say! :)

Blessings to your day!

My name is Colleen -- and I am a chronic worrier. All those "what ifs" just keep rattling around in my brain...

I've mellowed a little with age, but Todd teases that I worry most when there's nothing to worry about.

We are who we are, Marion. I hope the sun peeks out where you are today. We're expecting more showers today.

Take care!

Marion,
Oh, my yes am I a "what if" person! LOL I spend too much time wondering if I'm understanding something correctly, reading someone right, wondering if another person understood me correctly or is going to take offense! It's terrible! Jer, on the other hand, likes to live in the moment. We make a good balance, I guess.

If you read my latest post, you'll see that I've been doing a lot of pondering myself! I hate when I get like this and yet I seem to learn so much!

Hugs!

Leslie

I'm a "what if" type of person, as well. My biggest is, what if something happened to one of my girls? Or to Michael?

I love to dream about what I'd do if I won the lottery, too, lol.
