A FUNERAL AND A HOT AND MUGGY DAY.

Today my cousin buried her husband. They were married 36 1/2 years and were together 42....she will be 60 this month. The funeral was large and it really was a wonderful service. They were opposites for sure....he was described as a caramilk bar...hard on the outside...soft and mushy on the inside. After the words that she had written about him were read, the soloist went right into "You Raise Me Up"...very moving.
I'm tired. I feel bad for my cousin....she's older than me, but we are close. We see each other every week. My heart goes out to her and their son and daughter as they begin their life without husband/father.

Take care everyone.
Have a good evening.

I'm sooo sorry, Marion. Funerals are always hard but some are harder than others....

Hugs!

Marion,

What a lovely song. May God comfort all your hearts and each day bring wonderful memories of your dear cousin's husband.
