GOOD MORNING, AND STITCHY UPDATES!

Good morning everyone!! **EDITED to add that I am linking to Leslie at My Country Home for Whatcha working on Wednesday once again (it's been a while!) Check out her Blog and her wonderful work!!

I've been stitching this past week....(okay, when do I NOT stitch?)

Here is my "morning" project update...."This Heart of Mine".....

The above one is an actual "true" colour one, not sure what happened to the one above this!
And here is my Plum Street Samplers "Still Water's" update...I am still enjoying this project SO much! It's been great therapy......and this was one of my mom's favourite Hymns....

"Mary Margaret" by Carriage House Samplings arrived in the mail this week! Can't wait to start her, but I am going to be good and get more done on "Still Waters".
I have a question for all you ladies out there...where do you get your Longaberger Baskets? A lot of you seem to have these wonderful baskets displayed around your home? I have ONE. I found it at a second hand store years ago. Can you buy them in stores? I am going (hopefully) to Maine in a couple of weeks (if all works out with the girl I'm travelling with) and was wondering...I'd love to have some more of these great baskets!! Do they have stores, or what??

Thanks for your help...

Anyway, have a great day ladies...it looks like it's going to be a sunny, springy day here!!

Take care
Marion

Beautiful WIPs! That verse was my mother's favorite as well. I want to stitch that piece someday!

You are inspiring me to stitch Still Waters myself. I have loads of Plum Street's designs but I've not stitched a one of them, and I bought them for a reason! Maybe soon...yours is looking wonderful!

Be always in stitches.

Hi I have some of these baskets which I bought at home parties, through a rep. I have seen them on ebay for reasonable prices. Hope this helps. Your stitching is beautiful! Jan

Wonderful WIPS.

Isn't weird how pics change from one shot to another? I think it is one drawback from digital cameras. I get the same problem from time to time.

Have a blessed day.

Beautiful wips. I love Still Waters. Good luck finding the baskets. After a quick look at their website it looks like they only sell them at home shows or online.

You're WIPs are looking wonderful. I've always bought my baskets through a distributor or home party.

The 23rd Psalm was part of our "memory work" in Kindergarten! It is one of my favorites. I have only ever bought Longaberger from a home party, but one of my friends is a Longaberger fanatic, and she goes to the factory store in OH every year on a buying spree!

Beautiful progress on your WIPs! They look great.

I used to be a Longaberger consultant, and unless things have changed, they are only sold through home shows--maybe online now--but not in stores, unless it's a Longaberger store. www.longaberger.com. As somebody already suggested, you'd find them on Ebay. I value hand made items, and love that they are hand made by a master craftsman in the US.

I found a lovely basket on Ebay, Marion. Perhaps you might find one there.
