MY YARD SALE FIND...

Don't you just love this old wicker rocking chair??? I picked this up on Saturday at a yard sale...we are going to be building a veranda on the front of our home this summer and I thought it would be perfect for the veranda! It is so comfy!! I was sitting in it on Saturday afternoon...stitching away.

I have been missing in action once again...........I guess I haven't really felt like posting...no real reason....

Also, if you are so inclined, would you keep my oldest in your thoughts and prayers? She has really struggled these past few months with growing up, things/people in her life changing and career/school choices......19 is such a hard age........so good thoughts that she will find what she is looking for and make good decisions for her are welcomed. She's a beautiful girl and I want to see her very happy.

Take care everyone!

What a great find. I can definitely see that on a veranda. I think that I would like to spend the whole day in that chair watching the world go by and stitching.

My thoughts go out for your daughter. The teenage years are so hard to get through especially for girls. The drama and things that go on in my daughter's life astound me sometimes. I don't remember things being so upsetting when I was that age.

Wonderful find! I love wicker and on a sun porch - it's perfect!

I will keep your daughter in my prayers right along with my own son 17 yo. He needs to find his way as well. I feel your anguish.

Please be assured that I will keep your oldest in my prayers. I know from having raised my own daughter through those years that it can be a challenge to keep them happy. Luckily mine found a wonderful guy to marry and what a blessing he has been. He even saw her through all her health issues.

What a great find, your chair looks lovely and comfy.
Have a wonderful week!
