POOR. POOR NEGLECTED BLOG!

I look at all the beautiful Blogs that I follow on a pretty much daily basis, the beautiful stitching, the great photos...and then there is my Blog....poor, poor Blog! I need to pay much more attention to MY Blog!!

Things have been busy here. I have been busy stitching, and also Swedish Weaving. I finished up my 13th Blanket

which I made at the request of MIL to give to her sister for Christmas. I started #14, which is well underway...it will be a surprise gift to my oldest daughter's friend.

I ordered a bit of stash from Amy at Down Sunshine Lane...can't wait to get a start on those!!

I finished up two little ornaments from the Just Cross-stitch Halloween Issues. My goal is to someday have my ornament tree up and running on a year round basis, with ornaments for each season/Holiday.

DH and I celebrated our 22nd Wedding Anniversary on Saturday. We managed to get away, just the two of us, we had a late lunch, drove to look at some wonderful scenery, visited an antique store and also a winery...it was a fabulous day!

This white vase I picked up at a local second hand shop for $2.00. My mom used to have one like it. Anyway, on Saturday while at the antique shop, I found the flower frog insert that fit it!! I was thrilled to say the least!!

At the same second hand shop I picked up a couple of Vera Bradley's. This is one. This particular store imports all their merchandise from the US and a lot of it was display models...my Vera Bradley's are in new condition, just ones that may have been older store models or something. I have a few bags now...I really like switching them around.

Anyway, fellow followers...I hope you are still around.....my goal is to be much more enthused with this blog and not everyone elses!!!!

I want visitors!!

Take care...Have a fabulous fall day wherever you are!

Love the new look of your blog. And that photo at the top - WOW! gorgeous. Makes me miss the east coast.

Thanks for showing photos of your swedish weaving. That first one must have taken you a while - it is spectacular.
Love your scissor frog. I am having no luck finding one let alone the bowl to put it in lol.

Marion,
I have to admit that I forget you're not blogging because I keep up with you through Facebook...lol

Great work on your Swedish weaving, as always and I love the cross stitching, too :)

Have a great day!

First of all, congratulations on your anniversary. Sounds like you had a great day!

Second, nice to have you back blogging and yes, I am still checking the blogs. I, too, have kind of neglected my blog but hopefully, we are back on track. I also have started another swedish weaving project and have it about one-half done.

Cathey, my daughter who is now living in NS has been looking for a flower frog and I can hardly wait to tell her about you finding yours.

Great to have you back!

Congratulations on your anniversary. It sounds like you had a lovely day. I'm really intriqued by your blankets - I've never tried that weaving, but they're very pretty. Love your stitching too. And your scissor frog is great. I collect those and found that you can find beautiful bowls and then the frog part and they go together beautifully.

Your blog looks great - the best thing you can do for a blog is to live, photograph, stitch and tell about it! - which is exactly what you've done. :) Love all the finishes and new stash. Great pics!

The scenery is simply beautiful. It looks like you had a lovely Anniversary trip with DH. Happy Anniversary to you both.
